It appears not even Big Macs are safe from the lousy U.S. economy of the past two years. Or more specifically, McDonald’s as a whole.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the fast-food behemoth has temporarily shut down its corporate offices as it braces for a round of layoffs.
This was revealed in an email from McDonald’s headquarters to corporate employees. The email requested that they work from home through Wednesday as the staffing cuts are announced, per the WSJ.

The new ad promotes Dunkin’s exciting new deal dubbed the Dunkin’ Run campaign, which offers patrons a $1 donut when they purchase a medium or large coffee.
