Congratulations are in order for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen after their family just got a little bit bigger. The couple’s baby boy was born on Friday, January 13th, which the proud father confirmed after his arrival. The 43-year-old told a private concert that they welcomed the little baby that morning. “What a blessed day,” he said.

He went on to say that he didn’t get a lot of sleep that night, but he feels energized after spending a lot of time at the hospital. Attendees of the event immediately headed to social media to share the wonderful news and to let other fans know.
Chrissy Teigen Shows Off Baby Bump
The birth of their newborn baby comes after the couple experienced a heartbreaking pregnancy loss back in October 2020. The couple is currently parents to son Miles Theodore, 4, and daughter Luna Simone, 6. Back in March, the singer spoke to People about his family’s preparations for the new little addition, saying, “We’re all excited.”
“You know, my kids are old enough to really be aware of what’s happening, so they’re really anticipating having a new sibling in their lives. And I think they’ll be good at being a big sister and big brother.” Back in September, Teigen, 37, also spoke to People about her pregnancy, saying that both Luna and Miles were excited about the new addition learning about her pregnancy early on.

“Since we did IVF, we knew probably nine days after we did the transfer that it had worked and we were pregnant,” the model said. “I told them very, very early. They knew that I was going in for the transfer, that we were going to go in and put this egg inside Mommy’s belly. So they knew from the very, very beginning, and they knew there was a chance it might not work because that’s happened before,” Teigen said before announcing her pregnancy in August.
“They’ve been excited for a long time,” she went on to add. “I feel like this is going to be the longest pregnancy for them because they’ve known since that day. But they’ve been really very excited.”
