A 37-year-old coach by the name of Yuniesky Ramirez Martinez has been accused of pressing one of his young female students to perform sexual acts on him. The student claims that he secretly filmed her and another student.

Initial Details
Ramirez-Martinez was arrested on Monday for several different charges including solicitation of a child to engage in an act that constitutes sexual battery by a custodial authority, offense against students by an authority figure, and promoting the sexual performance of a child.
The suspect, a resident of Weston, Florida, was working part-time as a security monitor and sports coach at the Downtown Doral Charter Upper School.
The Doral Police Chief Edwin Lopez has labeled the suspect as “extremely dangerous.” He shared in a statement that Ramirez-Martinez is “somebody who’s victimizing students, who’s preying on them, taking advantage of students who are in a unique age in their life hormonally, dealing with the pressure of social media, the pressure of different relationships.”
He also directly addressed the suspect’s conduct as a trusted mentor and authority figure. “You are an authority figure in school, you’re supposed to coach, you’re supposed to mentor, you’re supposed to guide these young men and women into the next phase of life and you’re taking advantage of them, for us it gets no worse than that,” the police chief shared.
Sickening Requests
The alleged events took place on February 14th. The students claim that Ramirez-Martinez approached them and requested that the female student perform oral sex acts on the other student. He said that he would take them to a private room so that they could “do whatever they want.”
It’s alleged that he led the two teens into a TY production room and told them they could “do it” while he stood guard for them in the room adjacent to them.
Video evidence shows the coach filming the teens. He approached the female student the next day and requested that she perform oral sex on him. When she declined, he continued to persist. When she notified him that she was a minor, he expressed that it wasn’t a deterrent. In fact, it made him like her more.
The student revealed these details to the school’s principal, Kim Ortiz, who immediately contacted the Doral police department.
All information regarding the incident was provided through a police report. The suspect remains in custody on a $40,000 bond.
