California Mom Accused of Hosting Wild Teenaged Sex Parties Attacked in Jail

A mother accused of hosting a party where she watched her teenage son and his friends having sex was attacked in a jail in California.

Inmate Sharon O’Connor was allegedly attacked by five inmates. According to court documents, they kicked Shannon and beat her. Sophia Vigil, Marjaana Gardea, Erika Amaya, Danielle Chavez, and Anita Quiroz attacked O’Connor in a dorm room on October 24th. They are currently being held at Santa Clara County jail.

Brawls

Shannon has been serving her sentence at Elmwood Correctional Facility for throwing multiple sex parties in an eight-month period between 2020 and 2021. Her husband was unaware of the situation.

According to prosecutors, O’Connor met the young teens through her son’s social media. The children attend Los Gatos High School. The girls involved in the incident told the authorities that the mother allowed the boys to sexually assault them while she watched. The prosecutors stated that the girls “would vomit, but unable to stand and fall unconscious.” This was due to their heavy intoxication.

During one incident, O’Connor allegedly gave a condom to a boy and shoved him into a room with an intoxicated 14-year-old girl. The prosecutors said that the girl “was afraid, ran and locked herself in the bathroom.”

Charges

Shannon was awaiting trial when the attack occurred. The assault went on for about 16 seconds before the deputies were able to break up a fight. Apparently, O’Connor didn’t fight back. She was treated at the hospital for her injuries.

She is currently facing 39 felony counts of child endangerment and sexual battery. Before she was arrested, she worked as an administrative assistant at Aruba Networks. She is also facing fraud charges for unauthorized use of a company credit card to the tune of $120,000.
