A Scottish high school teacher was discovered by students on OnlyFans, and the shame was too much for her to bear. So she quit.

Kirsty Buchan, 33, taught physics at Bannerman High School in Baillieston, Glasgow, while teaching other lessons on how matter interacts online.
“The poses she did for Only Fans weren’t just suggestive, they left nothing to the imagination,” one parent said, via the Manchester Evening News. “Some parents thought it funny but several have made complaints because the poses were just too extreme.”

She left her job before she could get canned.
“She is the last person you would expect to be a science teacher but she obviously is very intelligent and she had an interest in amateur dramatics,” the parent said. “She has been telling people that she was looking to supplement her teacher wages with the sideline but she knew there was always going to be a strong risk of getting sacked.”
The parent is right — Buchan aimed to be more than a teacher and poster of pornographic images for pay. She seemingly aimed to become a serious actress, as revealed by her profile on the StarNow website.
“I am currently working as a Physics teacher and looking for some extra work on weekends and nights,” she wrote on her profile, per the Evening News.
“I have experience across several industries and I have worked in promotions, catering, retail and I have also done some extra work in a low budget internet series. I am a very bubbly, outgoing person (always smiling and laughing!) and love to try new things.

“I take pride in doing a good job and I am very self motivated and driven. Any job working alongside people or leading a group (especially working with children) is a perfect match for my qualities and skills.”
The people of Glasgow were less than impressed.
“This teacher was under investigation prior to tendering her resignation following the widespread distribution of wholly inappropriate and pornographic images,” said a Glasgow City Council spokeswoman said. “The council has a code of conduct that all employees should adhere to and a teacher who has actively pursued a second income on this type of website brings their school, the council and their profession into disrepute.
“We will be referring the details of our investigation to the General Teaching Council (GTC) and have responded to parental complaints made to the school.”
Why is it anyone else’s business what this woman does as a second job. You can’t have any type of extra life on a teacher’s income. As long as she did her job well and hasn’t molested a child then leave her the crap alone. Further more, what about the student or parent that was on the site to begin with that found her account. I bet no one has said a thing about their actions. She’s a grown adult. I’m so tired of teachers being micro-managed in their jobs on a daily basis, blamed for all manner of problems in society, barely make enough to live on, continually asked to use more of our personal time to meet requirements, but expect us to also regardless of our interest expect to act like nuns in our off time.
