Lindsie Chrisley is opening up revealing why she hasn’t yet visited her stop mom in prison. On the latest episode of The Southern Tea Podcast, Chrisley spoke about why she hasn’t made the trip to the prison in Lexington, Kentucky, where Julie Chrisley is serving out her seven-year sentence for tax fraud.

Chrisley went on to respond to a question by a listener who was asking why she was talking to her father, Todd Chrisley, amid his 12-year prison sentence for tax fraud, but not her stepmother. “I have not been to Lexington to visit her yet. There was a different process that I had to go through and the process at her facility looks very different than the process at my dad’s facility,” Lindsie stated. “I sent in all of my paperwork and have yet to hear back regarding the visiting, so it’s been a little bit frustrating.”

3. Pennsylvania Mother Strangles 11-Year-Old Son to Spare Him from Family’s Financial Hardships, Authorities Reveal

In Horsham, Pennsylvania, 50-year-old Ruth DiRienzo-Whitehead has been accused of murdering her son to shield him from the family’s financial hardships. It was reported that after 11-year-old Matthew Whitehead fell asleep next to his mother at 9:30 PM in their home, she strangled him to death with a belt.

A police affidavit stated that DiReienzo-Whitehead told officials during questioning that her late son had been “crying off and on all day” because of the family’s current financial situation. The woman informed police that she did not want her son to grow up dealing with her and her husband’s struggles, “so she strangled him with her husband’s belt as he slept.”

4. Drake Bell ‘Safe’ and in Contact With Police After He Was Reported Missing in Florida

Drake Bell is safe and sound. According to authorities, the Nickelodeon star was officially in contact with the police after he was reported missing in Florida earlier this day. Daytona Beach Police had revealed earlier that he was last seen a day ago and was being considered “missing and endangered.”

After speculation as to if the post was real or not, police revealed in the comments section on Facebook that “this is a legitimate post from the Daytona Beach Police Department.”

5. Matthew McConaughey Says Woody Harrelson Might Actually Be His Actual Brother

On a recent episode of the podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, beloved movie star Matthew McConaughey revealed that he and his actor buddy Woody Harrelson may actually share the same father. The two have been close friends for years and appeared together in HBO’s True Detective.

On the podcast, McConaughey first opened up to Ripa about his friendship with Harrelson, saying, “You know, where I start and where he ends, and where he starts and I end, has always been like a murky line. And that’s part of our bromance, right?”
