Megyn Kelly has called out CNN TV personality Don Lemon for the sexist remarks he made on the network’s morning show.

On SiriusXM, Megyn’s podcast, she admonished the new CNN boss, Chris Licht for not terminating Lemon after his comments. “Does someone have to grab a book for us to count?”

The Post reported that Lemon’s co-host, Poppy Harlow, abruptly left set after hearing Lemon’s statements. She is referencing to a comment that Don made about Nikki Hayley, the GOP presidential candidate. He stated that she is “not in her prime” at the age of 51.
Kelly has made several heated comments about Lemon’s statement. “Do women matter? Does our offense matter to CNN or does someone have to grab a boob for us to count, Chris Licht? That’s my question to you,” she shared on the podcast.
“It shouldn’t have to be that you were raped by a man, or 21 women come forward alleging that they’ve been sexually harassed by a man, or they’ve been inappropriately touched by a man for their offense to matter. This one’s not breaking down along partisan lines. This is not a left and right.”

The only statement that Don Lemon has made on his remarks is in a Twitter post apologizing for his actions. His efforts have been ill-received.
“This isn’t an apology. And how about directing this to the woman you insulted?” one user commented.

Maybe he meant to say” Nikki Haley isn’t in her prime at 50 because so many politicians who are over 65 who
think they are in their prime…” I’m not offended at all by Don’s comment. Maybe Poppy should’ve come up with an effective argument to state her opinion rather than showing she was having a tantrum and walking off stage.
