The celebrity circuit is well-apprised on the tumultuous timeline between Cyrus and ex-husband, actor Liam Hemsworth. The two were on and off for nearly a decade, but decided to get married in December 2018. Sadly, they called it quits less than a year later and finalized their divorce in February 2020.
The source said that Miley has “had time to process and heal” since she broke things off with Hemsworth.
Some fans are speculating that her album has subtle references to the relationship, but none of the rumors have been confirmed by Cyrus or anyone on her team.
