Bad news Frappuccino fans, Starbucks is recalling its bottled coffee drinks! The brand’s popular vanilla Frappuccinos are being recalled due to concerns about possible glass contamination. The recall was initially initiated by the FDA in January and has now been confirmed by PepsiCo, which announced that more than 25,000 cases of the drink distributed across the country are affected.

“The impacted products have best buy dates of March 8, 2023; May 29, 2023; June 4, 2023; and June 10, 2023 and were distributed across the United States,” a statement read. “The removal of these products from the marketplace is currently underway. The products are not sold at Starbucks retail locations.”

Starbucks Frappuccino Recalled

“The North American Coffee Partnership is committed to a high level of quality in the products we serve. Delivering a quality experience to our consumers is our top priority and we always act with an abundance of caution whenever a potential concern is raised,” it continued.

Consumers who have purchased the affected bottled Frappuccinos are advised to promptly return them to prevent the risk of injury. This isn’t the first time that a Starbucks beverage has been subject to a recall.

Back in August 2022, the FDA issued a recall of Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot cans due to contamination with metal fragments, and the same product was previously recalled in March of that year due to inadequate sealing. For the time being, people who crave vanilla drinks are asked to go directly to a Starbucks instead.
