Customer Says She Was Dress-Coded at Starbucks for Being ‘Too Cute’

Don’t be bringing your adorable self into Starbucks. There’s no place for you there. At least, that’s the hard lesson TikToker Ezzy said she learned at the popular coffee chain.

“I just got dress-coded at Starbucks,” she said, with a hint of shock, in a two-minute video. She added the incident happened at a store “on campus,” though never did reveal what campus.

“Be for real, be so for real right now, on campus too, at my big age,” she said. Ezzy was wearing a cropped yellow tube top and the Starbucks employee supposedly told her she had to be wearing a “full top.”

If so, that does indeed sound kind of silly.

“She was like, ‘Yeah, I’m so sorry, it’s just since this is an establishment, it’s required that you wear a full shirt,’” Ezzy said. “I was like, ‘B—h, I’m not your employee, like, I don’t work for you. I’m an adult.’”

Ezzy added that, hey, she was just going to carry on and continue to enjoy the day.

“Let me tell you one thing, ain’t nothing gonna stop my shine today,” she said. “I just look too cute.” Honestly, this is so dumb! Let people what they want to wear, and just call it a day! It doesn’t affect you, it’s not your body…sure it’s your eyes but that’s it! Let this woman be who she is and let her grab her coffee. That’s all she wanted! Not be judged by people around her. Freedom of… speech?
