A transgender high school teacher in Ontario is sporting prosthetic boobs. And while parents are annoyed, the school says it’s OK.

As described by the Daily Mail, Kayla Lemieux is a manufacturing technology teacher at Trafalgar High in Oakville. She has been pictured on social media “taking classes while wearing the huge prosthetics, which stretch her clothing and stick out prominently.”
Lemieux began transitioning from male to female a year ago. Students had been secretly taking pictures of Lemieux sporting the prosthetic breasts, and posting those pics online.
It can be safely be said that the breasts are … well, incredibly large and perhaps considerably distracting. Or in the words of one parent, “downright obnoxious and disgusting.”
Transgender High School Teacher Causes a Stir
No matter, the school stands by Lemieux.
“We strive to promote a positive learning environment in schools consistent with the values of the HDSB and to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students, staff and the community, regardless of race, age, ability, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, cultural observance, socioeconomic circumstances or body type/size,” the school said in a letter to angry parents, via the Daily Mail.
Those who have seen the tweets and Instagram posts are reacting quite differently, of course.
“I’m sorry but this is hilarious and nothing you can say will change my mind,” one user commented.
