That seemed to be the philosophy of veteran actress Melanie Griffith. She was sporting a little black dress and some combat boots in celebration of her birthday. Griffith was out at the San Vicente Bungalows in West Hollywood, California with her friend, Kris Jenner.
Griffith is synonymous with her blonde hair, and on this day, she wore it up in a bun. She ‘finished her look in black lace fingerless gloves, sheer tights with black polka dots and sparkly drop earrings,’ People noted.
While it’s unknown who celebrated with Griffith in person, Jenner made a point of celebrating on Instagram.
“Happy birthday to my girl @melaniegriffith!!” wrote Jenner, 66, alongside multiple photos of herself and Griffin through the years.
“You are the most amazing friend, mother, daughter, and sister, and you are so sweet, thoughtful, kind, creative, talented generous and GORGEOUS!! You are beautiful inside and out and I’m so blessed to have you in my life!! I love you madly xoxo.”
