Mitch McConnell Says It Was A ‘Mistake’ To Grant Tucker Carlson Access To Jan 6 Footage (Video)

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell appeared before the media today to claim that Congressional Republicans ‘made a mistake’ by granting Tucker Carlson and his team at Fox access to over 40k hours of security footage from January 6th.

He claims that even though footage revealed by Carlson shows police escorting protestors on tours throughout the building, that the past exaggerations of January 6th are still correct.

See a clip of that moment below…

A prominent protestor during the events of that day was a man named Jacob Chansley, who referred to himself as the ‘Q Shaman’. Chansley dawned a buffalo hat, and was shirtless.

Tucker Carlson showed footage of Chansley, who has been serving time since the events of that day, was literally chaperoned around the Capitol by police. See that footage below…

Why is McConnell so clearly fearful of the truth getting out? Does he have no shame?

The release of these tapes is a journalistic masterpiece. It disproves years of narrative that was spun ad-nauseam on every cable news network in existence. Even on Fox. Even by the Trump Administration.

This truth favored nobody except for the people who have been viciously destroyed following the events of that day.

McConnell attacking McCarthy for allowing Fox access to these tapes goes along the lines of him supporting Ukrainian aid time and time again.

Though most Republican voters are grateful to Tucker Carlson for exposing the truth, McConnell is angry. Quite telling.

What do you think?
