Khloé Kardashian admitted to sister Kim that she can’t figure out Tristan Thompson. Or more specifically, Khloé can’t figure out why Thompson cheated on her — on at least two known occasions.

This was revealed in a conversation between Khloé and Kim in the latest edition of The Kardashians.
Khloé and Thompson just had their second child together at the time of the filming, a son who arrived via surrogate. At the same time, model Maralee Nichols also had a son, fathered by Thompson. The latest episode of The Kardashians was filmed while all this was taking place earlier this fall.
“We were in the best place [when he cheated],” Khloé said to Kim on the episode. “So when we’re in the peak of our relationship, you go ahead and cheat on me?”
She added that she sort of blames herself for believing Thompson would remain faithful after the couple reconciled.
“I don’t even want to know what you do in the worst of our relationship. I’m just like, ‘Shame on me,’ almost,” Khloé said. “I know better and I didn’t do better because I had so much hope and, like, faith.”
Needless to say, trust became a major issue.
“It’s just a lot, and, like, How do you trust? I don’t know,” Khloé said. “But what I do know is that all of it sucks and it’s humiliating. It’s hurtful. I just don’t have anything else to give. … I don’t know if I’m strong, I’m just numb to all of this s—.”
Kim reminded Khloé that Thompson at one point proposed before the couple decided to split, perhaps for good.
“I said, ‘I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone,'” Khloé said. “And that’s why I said, ‘I’m not comfortable accepting this right now because I’m not excited to tell my family.’ And as hurtful as that probably was for him to hear, it was the truth.”

For the record, Thompson was at the hospital when his son with Khloé arrived.
“I’ve been on the fence about letting Tristan come to the hospital or not, but Tristan wants to be here so I just figured, why not let him come? I’ll never get this moment back,” she said, via People.
The couple began dating in 2016 and share a daughter, True, together as well.
Thompson has played in the NBA since 2011, mostly with the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning a championship alongside LeBron James in 2016. But he has not been signed by anyone heading into the current season.
