Ron Desantis Will Boycott NBC, MSNBC Over Accusation

The Office of Florida Governor Ron Desantis has announced that Desantis will boycott NBC and MSNC over comments made by host Andrea Mitchell.

“What does Governor Ron DeSantis not know about Black history and the Black experience when he says that slavery and the aftermath of slavery should not be taught to Florida schoolchildren?”

Bryan Griffin, Press Secretary for Desantis, had this to say about the boycott…

“There will be no consideration of anything related to NBC Universal or its affiliates until and at least Andrea Mitchell corrects the blatant lie she made about the governor,”

Why do people feel as if teachers are solely responsible for what American children learn? Why do the Democrats have such a problem with parental influence in education?

If it weren’t for the parents paying taxes to fund the schools, you would not have any school to begin with. Our elected officials should show more respect to the people that they are supposed to be serving.

Desantis is meeting the media head on, and refusing to be subjected to their lies and misinformation. A great way to combat a false narrative. If Desantis truly intends to run for President in 2024, he is making a great case.

After securing a landslide victory in his gubernatorial race in 2022, many have speculated that Desantis plans to enter the race for President in May of this year. We will see what action he takes next.
