Diana Deets, known as “Coconut Kitty” to her OnlyFans followers, has died as the result of taking her own life, per multiple reports. She was 24.

Her official account confirmed her death, citing “the darkness that weighed on her heart.” Prior to her death, Deets had been accused of trying to attract pedophiles by doctoring photos on her page in an attempt to make herself look younger.

“She was stubborn and strong, but also kind,” the statement on her account read. “She had the biggest heart we have ever known. She was always trying to encourage everyone around her, she wanted everyone to win. She was always taking in animals that needed a home.”
Deets reportedly made more than $450,000 via her OnlyFans platform, which featured adult content and garnered 5.4 million followers.
“She loved to create,” the announcement added. “She loved making art and expressing herself and we know that many of you loved her too and she was always so grateful to all of you.”

Friends indicated that she had been depressed over some of the backlashes that her photos generated, the Toronto Sun reported.
“I wanted to make something that looked like a real-life anime character — small chin, big eyes — that was made in my likeness because I use a picture of myself and I edit it,” she told Rolling Stone in 2021, via the Sun. “I just wanted to create a fantasy, just a character. And I was able to hide my identity and still make money off my art.
“I did get tired of people commenting on my looks when I was camming. It kinda bothered me.”
She started as an artist, but after that failed, she said she wanted to experiment with doctoring her pictures.
“At that point, I was like, ‘How can I make money off my art?’ and that’s how I decided to do digital art,” she said. “And that’s how I created Coconut Kitty.”
