Some people don’t just fight for their right to party. They’ll fight you over cinnamon nuggets at Aunt Annie’s as well — and look no further than the Cumberland Mall outside of Atlanta for proof.

It all began after one customer ordered the nuggets, only to be told that the establishment was out. It’s safe to say that did not sit well with the customer — who threw a drink at the employee.
So the two began to scrap. The worker, Elijah Johnson, described the chaos to WSB-TV.
“It was a typical day at work. I had a customer come up to the counter,โ Johnson said. โHe asked me for a small cinnamon nugget.โ
Again, the establishment was out of nuggets, and Johnson told the customer exactly that, perhaps apologetically.
Again, the customer didn’t want to hear it.
“He came around the corner he hit me on the side of my face really hard”, Johnson said.
Auntie Anne’s Goes Wild!
While the angry customer pulled on Johnson’s hair, Johnson belted him with a set of tongs. At least, as much as you can “belt” someone with tongs.
And now, the employee is holding the mall at least partially responsible.
“I snapped. I went into protective mode for myself because I know that I didnโt do anything wrong to this man,โ he said. โIโm looking to press charges on the mall because you guys pay for security there was no security around even afterwards.โ
A representative from Cumberland Mall said the mall is just glad that Johnson wasn’t hurt.
“Weโre aware of the incident,” the rep said, via WSB. “This disruptive behavior by the individual is a violation of the code of conduct and we donโt tolerate this.
“Weโre grateful the employee of Auntie Anneโs is OK. Security was made aware of the incidentย and quickly responded to provide assistance to the employee of Auntie Anneโs and also asked him if he wanted to file a police report but he declined.”
