Top Stories You Should Know

1. Robert De Niro Shares Candid Insights Into Growing up With a Gay Father

Robert De Niro is one of the world’s most distinguished actors and producers. He’s known for his systematic dynamism in character development and booming success in films by legends such as Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese.

You may have seen De Niro shed a tear or two on the big screen. But nothing quite compares to the drama he’s been through in real life. After his father passed away, the actor released an HBO documentary as well as a book honoring and remembering his life. With that remembrance also came a story about De Niro Sr being gay, and the torment his father felt in not telling the people around him.

2. Will Reportedly Toxic Relationship Between Kevin Costner and Taylor Sheridan Doom ‘Yellowstone’?

It appears trying to save your ranch in Montana has nothing on the real-life drama that’s reportedly taking place behind the scenes of Yellowstone.

More specifically, series creator Taylor Sheridan and lead actor Kevin Costner have had a falling out, per multiple reports — with Puck News going as far as suggesting that their relationship has grown toxic, and is essentially over.

Sheridan, of course, has written many things, with Yellowstone being his crowning achievement. But he has also spurned hits such as 1883 and 1923, both Westerns and prequels to the Costner-led hit. But the drama between Sheridan’s team and Costner’s team has been brewing for months, per Puck News, and it’s even spilled over onto social media.

3. CNN’s Don Lemon to Return Wednesday After Formal Training Following Sexist Comments

CNN anchor Don Lemon is set to return on Wednesday after receiving training and apologizing for sexist comments about Nikki Haley and women’s age. CNN CEO Chris Licht announced the decision in an email, stating that he had a “frank and meaningful conversation” with Lemon and that he had agreed to participate in formal training and “continue to learn.” Lemon hasn’t appeared on CNN since his comments on February 16, and apologized on Twitter.

“The reference I made to a woman’s “prime” this morning was inartful and irrelevant, as colleagues and loved ones have pointed out, and I regret it. A woman’s age doesn’t define her either personally or professionally. I have countless women in my life who prove that every day,” he tweeted.”

4. UNLV Lineman Ryan Keeler Dies Suddenly at 20 Years Old

Ryan Keeler, 20-year-old defensive lineman for the University of Las Vegas Rebels, died suddenly on Monday evening.

The school made an announcement on their Twitter page commemorating his passing. The tweet read, “The UNLV community is mourning the loss of Rebel football student-athlete Ryan Keeler. Our sincere condolences are with Ryan’s family, friends, loved ones, and teammates during this very difficult time.”

5. Liam Neeson Reportedly Felt ‘Uncomfortable’ During ‘Embarrassing’ Appearance on ‘The View’

It seems like Liam Neeson isn’t visiting The View anytime soon. The 70-year-old Irish actor recently spoke with Rolling Stone, saying his previous appearance on the ABC talk show was “embarrassing” and left him feeling “uncomfortable.”

During the segment, co-host Joy Behar expressed her longtime crush on Neeson and a montage of clips was played, showing Behar making several odd on-air comments such as “I would just like to have my ashes sprinkled over Liam Neeson.”
