Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg Says Traffic Fatalities Are Caused By ‘Discrimination’ (Video)

Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg appeared in an MSNBC interview over the weekend with host Al Sharpton.

During his interview, Buttigieg claimed that traffic fatalities are caused by ‘discrimination’, and that ‘black and brown’ Americans are more likely to experience them.

Buttigieg can be quoted as saying…

“We’ve got a crisis when it comes to roadway fatalities in America,”

“We lose about 40,000 people every year. It’s a level that is comparable to gun violence – and we see a lot of racial disparities. Black and brown Americans and tribal citizens and rural residents are much more likely to lose their lives…”

“There are a lot of reason related to discrimination….even related to the way the roads are designed and who has access to a safe street design that’s got crosswalks and good lighting.”

This comes after Congressional Democrats have called for Pete Buttigieg to reform the ‘racist’ roads and highways in America. See a portion of that letter below….

I guess the Biden Administration has nothing left to do, other than cry the wolf of racism at every turn. How shameless.

This is yet another instance of the Democrats using race to divide our Nation for their own political gain. Reform means funding, and lots of it.

More money will be expended by the Department of Transportation to combat something that doesn’t exist. Merely an excuse for government expansion.

What can we say? It’s the Democrat way!
