Though neither of the Democrat attempts were successful, McCarthy opened up about the impeachments. McCarthy stated….

“When you find that the final information that the Russia document was all a lie, when you watch what went through, I understand why members would want to bring that forward”

McCarthy stated that his top priority is getting the American economy back on track, as inflation rates continue to inflict serious financial damage to American families. Experts predict that 2023 could be the worst financial year in decades.

Speaker McCarthy also mentioned securing the Southern Border, which this publication covered in depth in a report released yesterday.

There were a reported 2.76 million ‘asylum seekers‘ who crossed the border in 2022 alone.

House Democrats filed impeachment charges against then-President Donald Trump back on December 18, 2019. The charges stemmed from a phone call with Ukrainian President Voldomyr Zelensky in which Trump discussed the activities of Joe and Hunter Biden in Ukraine.

Hunter Biden was a Board Member of the Ukrainian State-affiliated energy company Burisma, where he reportedly earned over $1 million per year. Hunter Biden had no prior experience in the energy industry prior to taking this job.

In fact, his salary was slashed tremendously as soon as Joe Biden vacated his position as Vice President.

As Vice President, Biden even publicly threatened the Ukrainian prosecutor, claiming that he threatened to withhold $1 Billion in aid if the prosecutor was not fired.

Trump was acquitted of the first impeachment charges. The second charges stem from the events of January 6th. The Former President was acquitted on those charges as well.

We’ll have to wait and see if the new Republican House of Representatives will attempt to correct the allegations levied at Republicans by Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats throughout the Trump Administration.
