Woman Slaps Boyfriend For Proposing With a Ring Pop During Baseball Game

Oh man, don’t mess with a woman and her engagement moment. A video is currently going viral on social media showing a heavily angry woman slapping her boyfriend after he legit proposed to her with a ring pop. Oh yes, a ring pop proposal. What did he think was gonna happen?

Anyway, the incident occurred at the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox baseball game. Safe to say the audience got more than what they asked for. The video quickly gained 200,000 views in under 48 hours. Big yikes.

In the video, you can hear the man saying “I love you,” as he begins to get down on a knee. The woman was in total shock as well as the spectators who all pulled out their phones to film the “special moment.” Suddenly the man whips out a box that had a ring pop in it, and that’s when she quickly slaps him into another world. She goes on to throw her drink at him, saying, “what the f*ck is wrong with you.”

To make things even more tragic, the camera crew at the game thought it was going to be a happy ending, and even put the couple on the big camera. So, safe to say thousands of fans were also left in shock. But, social media being social media said that if you look deeper, you can see the guy was going to propose for real. Apparently, there was a smaller box hidden inside of the original box where the ring pop was. “See his pocket when he stands up though. Looks like he may actually have a ring and the whole thing was a joke,” one viewer noted.

Twitter users seemed to defend the woman, with one user commenting, “I’m with her!! It was embarrassing for her, especially with all the media!! He ruined one of the most special moments in a couple’s lifetime. She was so excited to see what he was going to propose..after seeing the $1.00 candy pop. She was hurt & completely devastated!!”

Men quickly defended the man, saying, “You’re crazy if you think the guy is at blame” and “I get that she didn’t like this, but it’s no reason to slap him across the face. Especially in front of thousands.”

Another one noted, “If not staged. He got what he received. Don’t mess with the other sexes’ emotions male or female. Specifically in a crowded venue.”

If this is true…I truly hope this woman is okay after this. If it’s a joke, props for going viral my friends. Still, I would never make such a mess like this In public. Too much.
